Do we know who you are?

Over the next few weeks/months we'll be updating our database. We will be writing to all members to ensure the data we hold is up to date and accurate. Please help us by responding to the letters as soon as possible.

We'll also be asking anyone we don't have a membership form to complete one.

Accurate records not only help us comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act, but also allow us to know the age ranges of the children we support so we can plan activities accordingly.

Our AGM was held on 7th October.  The committee were all re-elected with the addition of Laura Couper! Big thanks to all new and existing committee members.

Office Bearers also remained unchanged, with the addition of Lynne as Co-Vice Chair (not as complicated as it sounds!)

AGMs are open to all members to attend and we encourage families to send at least one parent so that you are kept informed of the running of the charity and can give us input/suggestions to improve.

NDCS Child & Family Support Officer

Following the recent retiral of Alan Macqueen as CFSO for Grampian, Debbie Taylor will be replacing him.  Debbie has been CFSO for Highland for some time and is the parent of a deaf child herself so has a lot of experience.

Debbie can offer advice and support with education issues, benefits, emotional support, technology and much more!  You will probably see her at some of our upcoming events, or we can put you in touch, or you can contact her directly via NDCS office in Glasgow.

Looking forward to working with her.

Committee meeting - 29th August
