Our activities are open to all members and where possible hearing siblings too.  It is expected that parents accompany their child/ren during activities. Any restrictions on age etc will be noted in the details below.

We will be trialling an electronic booking system for events in 2018.

Residential Activity Weekend

Friday 31st August - Sunday 2nd September

Abernethy Nethybridge Centre

A weekend of outdoor adventures for the whole family! This year we will have families from Orkney DCS joining us so it's set to be a good one!

Go-Karting/Activity Day

Saturday 18th August, 11.00am-3.00pm

Elgin Kart Raceway

Join us for a day of karting and other activities (may include laser tag, tank driving, soft play - all ages will be catered for.

Information Workshop for Parents/Carers

Monday 17th September, 6.00pm-8.00pm

Holiday Inn, Westhill

Know Your Rights information session for parents/carers. 

Sessions will cover both education and benefits. Education session will be led by Enquire who are the Scottish advice centre for additional support for learning. The benefits session will be covered by Debbie Taylor from NDCS who will attempt to guide you through the maze of DLA and PIP.

We will provide childcare in an adjoining room if there is the demand - please book childcare ticket for each child if you need this as well as a ticket for each adult.

Tea/coffee will be provided.

10-pin Bowling Tournament

Saturday 29th September, 3.00pm

Garioch Indoor Bowling Centre

The great annual GDCS bowling tournament returns! Will you be in the winning team this year? 

Meal provided after the bowling for all. You will be asked to prebook your meals after you have booked.  Please only book places for children (adults will be fed but bowling places for children only)

Beetle Drive 

Sunday 14th October, Garioch Bowling Centre

Who doesn't love an old fashioned beetle drive?  Raising money whilst having fun for the whole family.  Bring grandma, cousins, friends, everyone welcome.  Refreshments, tombola, raffle.

This year's panto is Aladdin. Always popular, early booking will be essential to ensure your places.
